on surface active agents and solvents with a very
low toxic level.

hydrocarbons in thin emulsions.
This breakdown has following consequences:
• Accelerates their biodegradation by marine
bacteria.
• Avoids the barrier effect that disturbs chemical
and physical exchanges between the atmosphere
and marine environment.
• Biodegradability: conform to present legislation
on biodegradability of surface-active agents.)
• This composition meets the criteria for not being
harmful to the marine environment according to
MARPOL Annex V (resolution MEPC.201(62))
